You may have an ordinary hat for yourself or you may knit one by your hands but, in my opinion, children need more than that and I think it is your opinion as well.
It is well known that the skin of children is much more weaker than the skin of adults and can get damaged more rapidly. Our kids love playing in the sun, playing is their life and this is a healthy habit to have your kids playing and moving their muscles, that is very important for their growth. But, another important thing you must care about is the protection of their skin and eyes against harmful sun rays while playing outdoors. Hats will take care about that and more than that. Hats also have their benefits in cold weather and can protect ears against dust and sand in windy days.
